We only collect information you choose to share, primarily through our website scorecard and contact options:
- Your email address, when you request a site plan or get in touch.
- Your scorecard answers — the responses you select in the "Is your website working?" quiz, which we use to prepare relevant feedback for you.
- Anything you tell us in an email or during a call you book with us.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) for security and reliability. Our site itself does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add website analytics in the future, we will update this policy to describe it.
How we use your information
- To respond to you and prepare the free site plan you requested.
- To schedule and hold a call, if you book one.
- To keep records of our communications and improve our services.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Ever.
Services we rely on
We use a few trusted providers to run our business, and your information may pass through them only as needed to serve you:
- HostGator — website hosting and email delivery.
- Calendly — if you book a call, scheduling is handled through Calendly, subject to its own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep the information you send us for as long as needed to respond to your request and maintain reasonable business records. If you'd like us to delete your information, just ask.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To make a request, email hello@opendoorwebdesign.com and we'll take care of it promptly.
Children
Our website and services are intended for business owners and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
